Will You Help Clear the Shelters?
Clear The Shelters returns this summer for its 12th annual event, bringing together communities, shelters, and rescue organizations nationwide to help pets find loving homes while supporting the lifesaving work of animal welfare groups. Hosted by NBCUniversal Local, the initiative features both adoption and donation efforts, with adoption opportunities taking place August 1–31 and donations accepted through September 15. Through partnerships with NBC and Telemundo stations and local shelters, Clear The Shelters has helped connect more than 1.3 million pets with families and generated over $5.6 million in donations since its launch in 2015. The continued success of this effort reflects the power of collaboration in creating more opportunities for pets in need.
