The Brandywine Valley SPCA’s two-day Mega Adoption Event helped more than 1,200 pets find new homes, with 688 dogs, 593 cats, and nine other animals adopted. The event was supported by Best Friends Animal Society and local partners and held at the University of Delaware’s Bob Carpenter Center. Following the event, BVSPCA extended its efforts by waiving adoption fees at all adoption locations through June 28, 2026, to help even more animals find permanent homes.
